Cyberspace Real Estate

The Doors of Virtualization

The title should not mislead you!Real Estate has always been a dirty game in India. No we don't need the Mafia, nor do we need any under the table, shoved in ur crotch bribes!(Trust me..i know!).But with the internet becoming increasing wide, deep and content driven, it seems very clear to me that there is going to be a very vibrant Virtual Real Estate Market in the near future.

Soon your profile pages, social networking features, email,
video conferencing, information and other communication, everything will be integrated onto one screen shot. This will be your window to the world.Hopefully we can call it The Doors(a little bigger, and more expensive? than Windows!)

The benefits of these are very, very large. The only BIG negative people are telling me, is they will become couch potatoes(Like they aren't already!).I don't agree. It is a little like Freakonomics, for those who have read it.The more something is freely available, the lesser it will be misused. So the more freedom of living and earning off your online workstation you have, the lesser you will sit in front of it.This leads to EFFICIENCY and EFFECTIVENESS, two of the most important parameters in evolution of anything, including the human race, and quite obviously, the Internet.

So domains will become more and more pricey, especially those which generate great content and traffic.Soon online "Microwebs" will compete and strive to ward off competition. This is going to be very similar to Charles Darwins theory, but in an anarchic utopia like the internet, only natural systems can prevail.

sHIFTS, cHANGES AND rEVOLUTIONS

Life is pretty simple..really.If you study a little about the evolution of man, communities, to territories, and moving on to larger masses like regions, states and nations, there have been a few shifts that have brought about great change, thereby paving way to Revolutions.

First, man learnt to hunt, raise crops etc. Then went on to trade and commerce, and after a whole lot of bull shit for about 3000 years or so, approximately since the vedas, man has crawled on, until the evolution of the internet. The skill sets that determine how much a person is worth or earns was determined by, leavin other factors, his EDUCATION. Then this parameter became "EMPLOYABILITY".Any guess what the next Parameter is going to be?..."Web Presence"?, An Online workstation?, or could it be to renounce and rub cocoa butter on your stomach by a beach somewhere? Web 3.0 sure has some answers.

The art in a start

"Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but the creator of that beauty, is not someone who can be criticized, because YOU are not the creator".

The art in a start is important. You have to be sure about what you are doing, and to make meaning, before you make any money. The "money" is a by product, similar to the concept of replacing a pawn with a queen when it scales the chess board. It is a result of the effort it takes in making meaning.Sounds philosophical, but proof lies in the application of philosophy towards meaningful execution. So that was the thought process behind this logo.

A great logo. Thanks Chandni Raheja for mirroring conception and creation.Great stuff.

This is the Tatsat Logo

New age marketing?

Banner advertising gone bonkers...

With google adsense, and a whole host of other advertising programs like bidvertizer, kontera, azoogleads etc, there is no doubt that the "method in the marketing madness" is changing.

This was something i observed recently on Facebook, the hugely popular social networking site.
So the ad, which has been again zoomed into in the second picture,on the right, talks about the location of where the movie was shot(here, a hindi movie in New Zealand), and then links to the NZ tourism website.
Smart eh!
Looks like there are many roads, that lead to Wellington!
