The one and only Amitabh Bachchan turns a year older. The superstar of the millenium has seen his share of ups and downs in a career spanning around 4 decades.

The angry young man has now turned soft now doubt, becoming more of a silent old man, letting the younger generation of show-stoppers take his place on the screen.One of the great sayings i heard from him was about how the greatest event in his life was when he became a grandfather, and how he spends more time with his grand kid, trying to make up for lost time with his own children.This is where today's stars have an option, like SRK, Sachin or any other superstar(Of course, Sanju baba doesnt quite fit here, though for different reasons!), of maintaining work life balance in spite of a hectic shoot schedule.

Hats off to the Big B, and now for him to excel in a different role in Indian cinema, character roles perhaps, and making way for more Bs and Cs!
